Review Policy
Requirements for implementation and use of IUID are driven by DoD policies dating from 2003. Policy clarification and revision memoranda are published on an ongoing basis. These important policy memos should be reviewed to determine what items need to be marked with a unique identifier and to become familiar with the critical dates driving IUID implementation schedules.
