Property In the Possession
of Contractors
Many defense suppliers have government property with IUID requirements in their possession which must be registered. Previous regulations required the annual submittal of the DD Form 1662. A new process has been developed to support the electronic submission of data to the IUID registry, and the discontinuation of the DD Form 1662. This section reviews the process for marking and reporting government property in the possession of contractors.
